Since 1st January 2007, the New Town Hall has become the allowance organization of Prague 2 Municipal District. The aim of the establishment of this organization consisted in revival of activity in the New Town Hall and enlargement of its cultural program.

The New Town Hall is one of eighteen
national cultural monuments in Prague.

At present, wedding ceremonies and cultural or social events are held in its exquisite areas: in Gothic Mázhaus Hall, Alderman Lounge with wooden painted ceiling, Big Hall with mannerist frescos from the 16th century, in reception lounges linked to the coffee lounge designed by the architect Girsa in 1970s as well as in exhibition areas in the second floor.
