We would like to  introduce the Prague Society of Fine Artist (Spolek pražských výtvarných umělců, SPVU). SPVU was established after the disintegration of the Union of Czech Fine Artists and the Czech Fine Arts Fund, following up on the good and meaningful from both the previous period and the First Czechoslovak Republic era. Our purpose is to connect artists and to democratically display artworks of artists of varied opinions and artistic sensitivities. Our members are painters, sculptors and graphic artists representing all generations and almost all artistic opinions and tendencies, from realistic to abstract. Currently, our Society comprises almost fifty members, presentations of their work are available on our website www.sdruzenimaliru.cz and in the text published on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of its establishment.

We have organized many successful exhibitions and we hope that this one will also belong to the best and you will enjoy it.
