The entrance Gothic vaulted hall is the largest preserved non-religious
area of advanced Gothic style in Bohemia.
The Mázhaus Hall (No. 40) is
situated in the ground floor of the south wing of the town hall. It is a place
of press conferences, seminars, coffee-breaks, banquets, etc.
Area: 191
m2.
The floor is made of sandstone, the ceiling is vaulted and
on the walls, there are preserved remains of drawings. In the middle of the
hall, there are two columns.
The lighting is performed by wall-mounted
halogen luminaires.
The parlour is heated by underfloor
heating.
The entrance to the tower is situated in the east wall and on
the north side, there is a staircase leading to the basement
The access is from the courtyard or for Charles
Square (only from the courtyard during the reconstruction of the
facade).
The sanitary facilities are situated in the rooms No. 31 -
37.
In the ground floor, it is possible to use the cloakroom (No. 30) -
capacity 270 persons.
The Mázhaus Hall is not furnished.
