The famous baritone Mariusz Kwiecień will lead master classes in Prague again! Come see for yourselves!

We have great news for all fans of great voices: baritone Mariusz Kwiecień will return to Prague to lead his master classes again. Mariusz Kwiecień has received acclaim in all the leading opera houses in Europe and North America, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York and Covent Garden in London. A native of Krakow and a graduate of the Warsaw Academy, he was a member of the prestigious Lindemann Young Artist Program at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, which opened him the way to a world-class singing career. In September 2020, he announced his retirement from singing due to recurrent back problems, and became Artistic Director of the Wroclaw Opera (until March 2023). He is also dedicated to young artists as a teacher at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow.

Mariusz Kwiecień performed in Prague per the Nachtigall Artist Agency invitation several times with an enormous response. His masterclasses at the New Town Hall and at the Jan Deyl Conservatory also received a great acclaim.

This time, all master classes will be accessible to students, their professors and interested spectators free of charge!
